ADAMSON HOUSE, Malibu.

The drama behind this little town is extremely fascinating. Once home to the Chumash Indians then bought up completely by the Rindge family the history is rich and captivating. The Adamson house was one of only a couple in the entire town. It’s crazy to visit and imagine what it must have been like to have Malibu and all it’s beauty all to yourself. The house is only a couple minutes from campus (2 miles, to be exact) so it’s completely convenient to stop in to simply check out the beautiful groomed Park-esque grounds overlooking the Malibu pier and first point or take a little longer and delve into the rich cultural history of Malibu! Admission to the grounds is free and tours are offered throughout the day for $5 a person. The museum tour will allow you to relive the dramatic episodes of the Malibu in the owner’s very home.

Check out this awesome article featured in Malibu Magazine, written by local surfer and author Ben Marcus for some background before you visit!
